ProCookBook
Usage guide

How it works, area by area

The same organization as the Features page, explained step by step: what to do, where, and what happens next.

01

The recipe book

Filter recipes by category from the left column, or search by title, ingredient or a word in the method. To scale a recipe, open it, click “Recalculate”, pick a reference ingredient and the new quantity: everything else updates in proportion.

02

Recipe import

Click “Import” and upload a Word, Excel, PDF or text file: title, ingredients and method are recognized automatically. Review and correct every recipe before it’s saved to your recipe book — never saved blind.

Dishes and menus

Open “My dishes” and link existing recipes or add free-form elements — an oil, a garnish — into one element sheet: allergens sum up on their own. Then open “My menus” to organize dishes into free-form courses, and “Duplicate” to start from an existing menu.

04

EU allergens

Every recipe shows the allergens detected automatically from its ingredients — the 14 EU allergens. If something’s missing, add it by hand from the recipe card: it stays remembered, and on a dish built from several recipes the calculation sums up on its own.

CBT cooking

Open “CBT cooking” from your recipe book and write it all on one line, the way you would say it out loud — “Chicken breast 63°C 45min” — the temperature and time are picked out automatically. Pick or type a category, and the row lands in the right table.

Cloud and security

Sign in with the same email from any device — a kitchen station, a tablet in the dining room, a phone: recipes, dishes and menus stay in sync on their own, with nothing to save or export.

Frequently asked

The questions we hear most

Can I share recipes without giving full access to my account?
Yes: code-based sharing is free, view-and-print only, needs no named account, and can be revoked at any time — with an optional automatic expiry, if you set one.
Is automatic allergen detection 100% reliable?
It's an automatic aid based on the recipe's ingredients, meant as a reminder: always verify it before communicating allergens front of house, as with any support tool.
Does ProCookBook work from a phone during service?
Yes: the web app already works from phone and tablet today, built for real kitchen use — a native app is coming.
