Terms of Service

This is a courtesy translation; in the event of any discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.

The service

ProCookBook is a cloud-based digital recipe book for professional kitchens, offered by the operator of ProCookBook (identification details currently being updated). By using the account you create, you accept these terms.

Your account

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping your password confidential.
  • The content you upload (recipes, dishes, menus) remains yours: we use it only to provide you with the service.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to register.
  • The account owner may invite staff members under 18 (e.g. interns or apprentices) and takes responsibility for them, including obtaining parental consent where required.

Subscriptions and payments

The available plans, their prices and what each includes are shown on the My subscription page. Activation or a change of plan takes place after confirmation of the payment agreed with us.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of subscribing, without giving any reason. Since ProCookBook is a digital service that we make available to you immediately, we may ask you — at the time of activation — to expressly confirm that you wish to start using the service immediately, which means waiving this right once use has begun. In the absence of this express confirmation, the right of withdrawal remains fully valid.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from My subscription, using the “Manage subscription” button; if you prefer, you can also write to us via the Contact page. Cancelling does not delete your data: to delete it permanently, use “Delete my account” on the My account page (see also our Privacy Policy).

Liability

We do our best to keep the service available and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee the complete absence of interruptions or errors. We are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the service.

Changes to the service or the terms

We may update the service or these terms over time. Substantial changes will be communicated with reasonable notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law.
